November 27th will be the OECD Green Rio Day with an international delegation

AThe OECD and the Rio de Janeiro State Secretariat for Environment and Sustainability will be promoting the first OECD Conference on Rural-Urban Connections in Latin America, which will take place on November 25 and 26, 2025, at the Museum of Tomorrow.

November 27 will be “Green Rio Day” in the program of this unprecedented conference, when participants from OECD delegations will visit the Green Rio/Blue Economy Rio Summit 2025.

This initiative is part of the OECD Rural Development Conference, which will take place on November 25 and 26 at the Museum of Tomorrow. OECD Green Rio Day is part of the conference program. The OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) is a forum and knowledge center for data, analysis, and best practices in public policy, working with more than 100 countries worldwide.

Created in 2002 and overseen by the Regional Development Policy Committee (RDPC) and the Working Party on Rural Policy, this international forum on rural policies promotes dialogue between governments, experts, the private sector and civil society, strengthening networks and stimulating the exchange of knowledge between OECD countries and partners.
