Green Rio participates in the Brazil-Germany Economic Meeting (EEBA) in Salvador

Green Rio attended the Brazil-Germany Economic Meeting (EEBA) in Salvador and was part of the Brazil-Germany Initiative for Cooperation in Agribusiness and Innovation at the invitation of ABAG. In the group “General Innovation, Trade and Investment”, Alvaro Werneck presented information on the blue economy and its relationship with the bioeconomy, an innovative theme in this edition.

The meetings aim to exchange experiences and develop a strategic agenda between the two countries. The debate on the blue economy will continue in November at the Blue Economy Rio Summit / Green Rio at Marina da Glória.

At EEBA, some topics gained attention, especially the negotiations of the agreement between Mercosur and the European Union, in addition to decarbonization in industry. The event took place at Senai Cimatec, a reference in technology, innovation and education.

We thank ABAG, APD and other partners for coordinating the activities, which will continue soon.
