Green Rio signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Interstate Consortium for Sustainable Development of the Legal Amazon (CAL). The agreement provides for the dissemination of CAL and the Green Rio Summit, expanding the scope of joint actions around the bioeconomy and innovation. CAL brings together the nine states that comprise the Legal Amazon.
At Green Rio 2025, the Consortium will be represented on the COP30 Echoes panel, contributing its strategic vision to the results and analyses of the COP30, which will have already taken place in Belém.

The Green Rio / Blue Economy Rio Summit is now available on the COP30 Events platform. The platform is a civil society-led initiative to organize and provide visibility to events taking place before, during, and after COP30 in 2025. The platform was created by Converge Capital, Profile, the World Climate Foundation, and CLARICE, with sponsorship from the Arapyaú Institute, the Climate and Society Institute (ICS), and the Itaúsa Institute.
