Brazil-Germany Workshop at Green Rio / Blue Economy Rio 2025

We participated in a meeting at the German Consulate in Rio de Janeiro with the new Deputy Consul General, Ms. Claudia Seidler, and Allan Lima to plan the Brazil-Germany Workshop at Green Rio / Blue Economy Rio 2025.

Since 2016, the workshop has been promoting bilateral cooperation on bioeconomy issues, bringing together experts, companies, and institutions from both countries. Over the years, the meeting has established itself as a space for dialogue and partnership building.

In 2025, one of the main highlights will be the blue economy and will include topics such as sustainable ports, marine farming, and water resources.

A week of networking with Germany in Rio de Janeiro. A reception at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation was attended by Mayor Henriette Reker of the German city of Cologne, as well as several institutions present, including the German Consulate, AHK-Rio, and DEG.

In the following days, we promoted Green Rio during the Web Summit, which included representatives from Köln Business and the Baden-Württemberg region (Germany). Austria will also be invited back to join the event in November.

In June, we will be at the Brazil-Germany Economic Meeting in Bahia.
