Signing of a cooperation agreement with the Beijing Green Development Forum
Beijing Vice Mayor Li Xianxia, accompanied by a Chinese delegation, opened the event by inviting attendees to the Forum, which is scheduled for September 17–18, 2026.
Claudia Jannuzzi, Coordinator of Strategic Partnerships and International Investments at the Rio de Janeiro State Secretariat for Economic Development, presented the state’s strengths, highlighting opportunities for partnerships and investment. She emphasized that Rio de Janeiro is home to Latin America’s only industrial district operating on an industrial symbiosis model and hosts the region’s first center of excellence for fertilizers—a partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture managed by the State Secretariat for Economic Development.
Zhang Li, Co-president of Asia Data Group, gave a presentation covering alignment with China’s national “Dual Carbon” strategy, the commercialization of green technology, and business collaboration. The presentation also addressed international green urban development, energy transition and the development of new energy systems, green finance, digital intelligence enabling green technology, and ESG investments within China’s asset management industry.
A panel discussion moderated by Li Li (also of Asia Data Group) brought together Tertius Riberot (Brazil-China Chamber of Commerce), Hélio Sirimaco (National Agriculture Society), and Francisco Carrera (OAB – Brazilian Bar Association).
The event concluded with the signing of an Institutional Cooperation Agreement involving Asia Data Group (signed by Co-president Zhang Li), Green Rio Tec Ltda (signed by CEO Maria Beatriz Bley Cosa), and IECB—acting as the institutional coordinating body—(signed by Claudia Jannuzzi).
