The first edition of FINA (Blue Innovation and Business Fair) was held in Brazil on November 28th, alongside the Green Rio/Blue Economy Rio Summit at Marina da Glória, Rio de Janeiro, RJ. Leading the event was Professor Alvaro Sardinha, founder and CEO of the Center of Competence in Blue Economy (Portugal). The dynamics of the event, which had the support of SEAS-RJ, were geared towards benefiting visitors, exhibitors, and speakers, promoting the dissemination of innovative projects; attracting investment; establishing partnerships; and realizing business deals.

It was a very special opportunity to have Alvaro Sardinha present during the three days of the Green Rio/Blue Economy Rio Summit. He was also a speaker on the panel “The Power of the Blue Economy” and conducted a workshop dedicated to the theme “3E Strategy – Realizing and releasing the value of the sustainable and regenerative blue economy”.
