Networking at HannoverMesse, the world’s largest industrial trade fair.

We participated in HannoverMesse, the world’s largest industrial fair, learning about and inviting people to the Green Rio Tech and Blue Economy Rio Summit 2026. Held from April 20th to 25th in Germany, Brazil was the country of the year at this edition, which brought together more than 4,000 exhibitors, including hundreds from Brazil, and representatives from 60 countries.

The bioeconomy was particularly present in themes related to energy and innovations for industry. During the event, there were also products and digital platforms highlighting resource efficiency and decarbonization.

In the Brazilian spaces, institutions such as ApexBrasil, Sebrae, FINEP, Senai, and Certi were present. Companies presented solutions, such as Embraer with the Eve (zero-emission aerial vehicle) and Volkswagen Trucks, which showcased its biodiesel truck manufactured in Resende (RJ). Startups also participated, including TerraMares from Rio Grande do Sul with biotechnology using microalgae.
