Green Rio / Green Latin America event will take place from May 11 to 13, 2017 at Marina da Glória, Rio de Janeiro, and the Salon Cosmetic 360 will be held in Paris, October 18 and 19, 2017.

In 2016, Salon Cosmetic 360 received more than 200 exhibitors from different countries, among them the SEBRAE Structuring Project for Amazon Forest-Based Cosmetics, whose stand was highly sought and received the visit of Brazil’s Ambassador to France, Paulo Cesar de Oliveira Campos.

The Coordinator of Green Rio / Green Latin America event, Maria Beatriz Martins Costa and Cosmetic Valley Director, Jean Luc Ansel, have formalized an agreement between the two events on October 31, in Chartres, France, at Cosmetic Valley.

Jean Luc Ansel will give a presentation at Green Rio / Green Latin America on trends in the cosmetics market, and also talk about “Cosmétopée”, a concept that Cosmetic Valley has been releasing internationally promoting the importance of registering the traditional knowledge of the raw materials for cosmetics.

The study, protection or enhancement of biodiversity in general and inheritance plants in particular are currently the subject of institutional advances that could lead to major changes in the cosmetic sector inspired by the Nagoya Protocol (Nagoya Conference in 2010).

On the other hand, Planeta Organico will promote Green Rio / Green Latin America in the Cosmetic 360 Salon, which will take place in Paris in October 2017.

Cosmetics will be highlighted at Green Rio / Green Latin America 2017, where SEBRAE will promote a business round focused on this sector.
